    here’s the short answer:

    Logic Pro generally wins for complete beginners who want a smooth learning curve, a lot of built-in sounds, and an easy “open and start making music” workflow.

    Ableton Live is better if you want to get hands-on with beats, loops, and electronic music production early on, and if you might perform live later.

    If you’re on Mac and you’ve never produced before → Logic Pro is the friendlier starting point.

    If you want to make beats, EDM, or perform live and don’t mind a learning curve → Ableton Live is worth diving into.

    If you’re not sure → Try Ableton Live Intro (cheap) or Logic’s free trial for 90 days, then pick the one that “clicks” for you.
